    It works! Easy to program and install, used 9v battery, holds up to weather. Have ordered multiple units.

    MCX420001 not enough range and troublesome

    I just bought a second keypad to install at the garage, approx. 100 ft away from the gate and found out the range for this product is only approx. 40 to 50 feet. No where in the literature does it identify the range. Additionally, it took several times to program the code. This also happened with my existing key pad when I changed the battery. Not sure why.

    I had broke the battery connection on the previous controller and this one was ordered and shipped in such a timely manner NO one know the old controller was broke. Nice job Gatehouse!

    replacement unit

    This is a replacement of the same unit that I've used for more than 17 years. The old one still works great but the battery compartment door broke. Happy to find a replacement that has a great track record. Installation and reprograming took about 10 minutes so hope I'm good for another 17 years.
