The infared sensors i ordered were exact replacements. They worked just like the originals that were damaged in lightning strike. Saved me from having to buy whole new garage door opener.

I know most people expect when ordering a part for a machine they bought many years earlier think the part number will remain the same. Not alway true; a company making those parts may go out of buss., redesign the part, or your company may find a better part else where; therefore, the part number may change.
