1895-017 Doorking Replacement Keypad for all 1800 series phone systems

Excellent product. Installed easily and worked great!

So easy to install; took less than 10 minutes - undo the four retaining screws; insert the cable onto the keypad pins; reattach with the retaining screws; connect other cable end to the board; wrap cable with tie. The keypad I replaced began to not recognize the some codes which became annoying. The new one was tested several times and is working great! Price is reasonable too.

It would be nice if it showed proper polarization for connection to keypad

If the keypad is acting up on your unit, this official DoorKing part is the solution. When I found myself having often to reenter the codes a couple of times to get the gate to react, I finally bit the bullet and ordered this part from Gatehouse. Because I had previously purchased a universal key for the box from Gatehouse (original one long lost), all I had to do was open the box, remove the four nuts attached to two little padded bars holding the keypad in the face of the unit, remove the little bars, unclip the ribbon cable to the old keypad, remove old keypad, and put new keypad in place, attach ribbon cable, and reinstall bars and nuts. Took less than 5 minutes, and the unit works like new! All for a very reasonable price.
