BlueGuard recognizes Bluetooth enabled cell
phones when they move into range, verifies the
phone’s unique ID and activates its output to the
access control system. Up to 10 cell phones may
be bonded with the BlueGuard for hands-free
access.
BlueGuard’s user interface features a secure,
magnetically activated switch to place the unit in
set-up mode. During set-up BlueGuard reads
Bluetooth devices that are within range and allows
the user to select bonding with BlueGuard using the
cell phone’s keypad by entering your unique PIN.
The PIN prevents unauthorized users from
accessing the control functions of the unit.
