I had the old model 1099-30 and this is the newer version and I was afraid it would be different in some way, but it works great and is really the same. I'm hoping this new one last just as long as the older model.
No problem with online ordering either, gatehouse was less expensive than other sites for same equipment.

Prior to the installation of this item, I had to be almost next to me gate motor with the remote to get it to work. Since the installation of the receiver my operational distance has increase to approximately 200 to 250 feet. The installation really wasn't that difficult either.

If you are struggling like me, you should buy it!! It works really good!! I also bought 2 Multi Code 3070. It is very reliable! I am really satisfied with the products!!!!
